Dylan John Callahan, also known as Deelambs and formerly known as Son III, is a Delveran and Karno-Ruthenian politician and military officer. He previously served as the Secretary of State of NottaLotta Acres, a position equal to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. The third son in the NottaLottan family, he is singly credited with naming NottaLotta Acres, and with its rise to statehood. He played a significant role in the early development of the Commonwealth of Lavrasia, the immediate predecessor of the Grand Republic of Delvera and the Grand Republican Army of Delvera. He served as Minister of Commerce of the Grand Republic, as well as Quartermaster and Adjutant Supreme Commander of the Delveran Armed Services, occuping algo the position of Consul and being currently the Ministry of Finances of Karnia-Ruthenia.

Politics[edit | edit source]

Callahan founded NottaLotta Acres in 2008, serving as Secretary Secretariat, then Secretary of State, until stepping down and passing the position to his brother in 2014. He is known for authoring and signing a treaty with the Grand Republic of Salania that established the NottaLottan Empire in 2011.

Callahan was appointed Minister of State of the Grand Republic of Delvera on 10 April 2016. After acquire Karno-Ruthenian citizenship in July 2020, he was appointed Minister of Finances.

Military[edit | edit source]

Callahan created the NottaLottan Armed Forces, which he was responsible for training, equipping, and leading as Adjutant General, in 2008. He officially resigned from the post in 2014. In early August 2015, Callahan offered his services to the Grand Republican Army of Delvera as Quartermaster. His request was approved, and he was commissioned as a Major.

On 22 December 2015, Callahan created the District of Neosho, a military jurisdiction in Kansas which later became the Province of Neosho.

Private life[edit | edit source]

Born in Illinois in 1991, Callahan was raised in a conservative home, and he describes himself as a paleoconservative and a professing Christian. He also is a staunch supporter of free markets and free enterprise, as well as individualism. Some of his political heroes include Thomas Jefferson, Ayn Rand, and Patrick Henry.

The name Son III (pronounced "son three") was an heraldic title, bestowed upon him by his mother. Birth names were not used officially in NottaLotta Acres (though they were used casually) until 2012.

Views on Micronationalism[edit | edit source]

Callahan sees micronationalism as being analogous to real-world politics, but takes his position in Delveran government very seriously, as the Grand Republic is his home and a "truly sovereign state"; he disapproves of non-serious micronations, as they are, in his opinion, "... (M)erely poking fun at the political processes that took centuries to develop."
