The Karno-Ruthenian First Army is a Karno-Ruthenian is a permanent field army and was established in 26 November 2014 as part of the Royal Army of Ruthenia at Persenburg, Kingdom of Ruthenia and transformed into a regional army during the reforms caused by the creation of the Karno-Ruthenian Empire. The task of the Army since its foundation is to defend the Kingdom of Ruthenia, especially the capital, Persenburg.

History[edit | edit source]

The history behind the foundation of the First Army begins with the foundation of the Armed Forces of Karnia-Ruthenia. The Imperial and Royal Army was founded on the 26 November 2014 as the Royal Army of Ruthenia. The Army was originally intended to serve as a defensive force to protect the national borders and territories owned by the Kingdom of Ruthenia.

After the signing of the Karno-Ruthenian Compromise of 2016 and the foundation of the Karno-Ruthenian Empire, the I Army and its inspectorate was created in June 2016 and serve as a defensive force of the imperial capital in the event of conflict.

It participate in the Lundener Civil War becoming involved in the Battle of Vleshko.
