The Most Noble Order of St. Daniil Sihastrul, founded in 13 January 2016[1] by the co-Domnitori Alexander XII and Oscar, is the highest order of chivalry and the most prestigious honour in Carpathia, and is dedicated to the image of St. Daniil Sihastrul. It is awarded at the Sovereign's pleasure as a personal gift on recipients. The membership of the Order is limited to the Sovereign, the Dominitor, four Knight Grand Crosses, fourteen Knights and thirty Members of the Order, and recognizes that non-royal members of the Order can not hold membership in other Orders of Knighthood. It was extinguished in Karnia-Ruthenia after the secession of the principality, but remained active in the Empire of Pavlov until its dissolution.
