The Annexation of North Carolina, or the Anschluss von Nord Karolinen was a political move at the behest of the North Carolinian people by the ruler of South Carolina, then a member state of New Europe, Matthew, King of South Carolina to liberate them, who eventually claimed the territory and changed his title to King of Greater Carolina. The annexation went smoothly until a series of battles.
