Audiences with the Karno-Ruthenian monarch

Audiences with the Karno-Ruthenian monarch (in Portuguese: audiências com o monarca Karno-Ruteno) is a regular ceremony in which takes place weekly with the Emperor-King, who receives members of the diplomatic community, though also welcomes political, religious and military leaders and any citizen, national of foreign, who whishes to have a personal conversation with the Sovereign.

The idea to have such court event was reported to have been made by Caio, Duke of Daugavia at early July 2021 and endorsed by Thomas, Duke of Saena, the Imperial Chancellor at the time. Based in the British practice that barely changed since Victorian times, and involve some uniquely aspects, like the formal introdution during the opening of the audience, that is conducted by the Kaiserjägermeister and the Imperial Chancellor.

The idea behind the audiences is that granting an Audience, the Emperor acknowledges the importance of the individuals and their work for the Empire and micronationalism, and creates an opportunity to learn more about them and to give them a memorable experience while increase the importance of the Imperial and Royal Court.

Audience[edit | edit source]

Audiences generally takes place online, but formally, is considered to take place in the "Reception Chamber of HM The Emperor", or Parlour (Társalkodó terem, in Hungarian), the private apartment of the Emperor in Hofbau Palace, a clear reference to a state room of the Buda Castle.

The guest is introduced to the room by the Kaiserjägermeister, who announce the name of the guest to the Emperor by the way precribed following:

"It is our pleasure to introduce to the Imperial Court, [FULL NAME and COMPLETE FORM OF ADDRESS], for an Audience with His Imperial and Royal Apostolic Majesty, the Emperor King".

In turn, the Imperial Chancellor present to the guest His Majesty, reading his full title.

"To our most esteemed guest to the Imperial and Royal Court, we present His Imperial and Royal Apostolic Majesty, by the grace of God, Emperor of Karnia and King of Ruthenia, King of Bessabia, King of Acrin, King of Horvatia, Szolnók, Geza, Letingia, Escandia, King of Jestia, etc.; Archduke of Karnia, Grand Duke of Gaussland, Caledonia; Duke of Ladislavia, Hoheneinsamkeit, Weißeswasser, Csorna, Chedowski, Balaton; Grand Prince of Karcag, Margrave of Luftrein, Duke of Persenburg, Götzödorf, Mohács, Pannonhalm, Podenbrad, Gyalla, Oswiencin, Zallanta, Cieszpreg, Fertodin, Rugoz, Árpád; Princely Count of Bihar, Tamaz, Koberg, Gerizia, Grevenia; Prince of Thomaz-Rocha, Bersód; Margrave of Upper and Lower Lusitia; Count of Heves, Feldkirchenberg, Brevento, Szentes, etc.; Lord of Fürstenbergserdboden, Kazin, etc., etc. etc.".

After this formal introduction, the not-written rule is to speak informally for the rest of the Audience. The Emperor is always briefed by the Kaiserjägermeister ahead of his Audiences, so it can be much direct. Audiences generally last approximately half an hour, and the conversations which take place are entirely private. No written transcript or recording is made.
