Awards and decorations of the Armed Forces of Karnia-Ruthenia
The awards and decorations of the Armed Forces of Karnia-Ruthenia are primarily the medals, service ribbons, and specific badges which recognize military service and personal accomplishments while a member of the Armed Forces of Karnia-Ruthenia. Such awards are a means to outwardly display the highlights of a service member's career.
It was first suggested on 2018 by Michael, Grand Duke of Nordinsel, but implemented only in 2023, after members of the military require clarifications of the order of precedence of the orders, decorations and medals of Karnia-Ruthenia. It's use are placed within the precedence after the civil awards instituted by the Emperor, since those military awards are granted by the Head of the Imperial General Headquarters.
Military awards currently issued to service members[edit | edit source]
That are three distinct groups of medals, awards, ribbons, patches and badges separately or in combination, reflecting the following areas: gallantry in action against an enemy, or in dire but non-combat circumstances; notable and/or exceptional performance of duties outside of combat; ribbons denoting service in various posts and campaigns. That various badges or patches be designed to denote various skill qualifications that are notable for being outside the normal training regimen.

Inactive and obsolete awards[edit | edit source]
Karno-Ruthenian military personnel having received some awards regarding campaigns have participated within these areas of combat/conflict during the time these awards were given to service members. Such awards have since been discontinued or are no longer applicable in terms of receiving these commendations. These awards, like the Annexation of Cardonia Medal are considered obsolete.
Foreign and international awards[edit | edit source]
Foreign and international decorations are authorized for wear on military uniforms by the His Imperial and Royal Apostolic Majesty's Own Office. In the case of foreign decorations, they came after all the national orders, by seniority and rank.
