Countess Beatriz Santory is a member of House of Götzö-Thomaz-Rocha as the first child and first daughter of the first marriage of her mother, Archduchess Ophelia of Karnia. She renounced her rights of sucession, but her title and style was eventually confirmed by his nephew and Beatriz's cousin, Oscar I.

Her mother married three times, and from the first, she had a twin sister, Bianca, Countess Martins. From the second relationship of her mother, she had a brother called Rudolf, that eventually was recognized as a child of Archduchess Ophelia's third marriage to Count Maurice Bezerra de Ponte de Lima, with whom she also had another son, Juan de Bezerra de Ponte de Lima.

She married morganatically and soon divorced, but had a daughter, Valentina, who is expected to succeed her comital title in her own right.
