Archduke Danilo of Karnia is a member of House of Götzö-Thomaz-Rocha as the second son of Archduke Pedro of Karnia and his second wife, Archduchess Anna of Karnia. His father renounced his rights of sucession after his first marriage, but his title and style, as much as of his offspring, was confirmed by his nephew, Oscar I.
He have a paternar half-brother from his father's first marriage, Archduke Alexander.
