Archduchess Esther of Karnia is a member of House of Götzö-Thomaz-Rocha as the third child and second daughter of Archduke August of Karnia and his wife, Archduchess Josianne of Karnia. After her father renounced his rights of sucession to marry her mother, his title and style, as long as of his offspring was confirmed by his cousin, Oscar I.
She is the younger sister of Archduke Joseph and Archduchess Jessica.
