The House of Heiterbene-Schonerhugel is a noble family of princes and dukes of Karnia-Ruthenia. The family arose in the area of Persenburg around 2000 and took their name after being nobilited by the Emperor-King of Karnia-Ruthenia on 2016, as Barons and then as Margraves in early 2020, ascended to ducal rank by December 2020.

Members of the House were considered the direct descendants of the first Duke, Sebastian (b. 1957), but the house have two branches: of the Princes of Heiterbene and of the Princess of Schonerhugel, that also detain the title of Margravine Eisenland. The style used for the first branch is "His/Her Highness, Prince/Princess X of Heiterbene", while the heir use the style of "His/Her Highness, Hereditary-Prince/Princess X of Heiterbene". The heir apparent was His Highness, Hereditary Prince Christian of Heiterbene (b. 1991), older son of Duke Sebastian of Heiterbene-Schonerhugel and his first wife, Duchess Socorro of Heiterbene-Schonerhugel (1968-2018), married with Princess Jessica of Heiterbene (b. 1990) and followed by his own children, Their Highnesses, Prince Michael of Heiterbene (b. 2014) and Prince Nicholas of Heiterbene (b. 2020).

The other branch, also descendants of Duke Sebastian - his daugther, Caroline, received the title of Margravine Eisenland. The style used for the second branch is "His/Her Highness, Prince/Princess X of Schonerhugel", while the heir use the style of "His/Her Highness, Prince/Princess X of Schonerhugel, Margravee/Margravine Eisenland". The heir apparent is His Highness, Prince Nicholas of Heiterbene-Schonerhugel, younger son of her brother.

The third children of Duke Sebastian, Princess Marie Louise (b. 2020), daugther of the second marriage of the duke with Duchess Cleide of Heiterbene-Schonerhugel (b. 1987), holds the fifth place in the line of succession and hold the title and style of "Her Highness, Princess Marie Louise of Heiterbene-Schonerhugel". She is the goddaughter of Oscar I, and her christening was the second formal event of the Imperial and Royal Court at the St. Stephen King of Hungary Cathedral.
