The Karno-Ruthenian Ambassador to India is in charge of the Karno-Ruthenian Embassy in Guwahati, the imperial and royal diplomatic mission to India. The official title is His Majesty's Ambassador to India and the position of ambassador to India is considered to be one of the most important posts of His Imperial Majesty's Diplomatic Service in Asia, the fourth o be created in the continent.

The ambassador's main duty is to present Karno-Ruthenian policies to the Indian-born citizens and their government, and to report Indian policies and views to the Government of Karnia-Ruthenia. The ambassador is the head of the Karnia-Ruthenia's consular service in India. As well as directing diplomatic activity in support of trade and for the provision of consular support to Karno-Ruthenian citizens in South Korea. He also oversees cultural relations between the two countries.

This diplomatic post was the last to be created by imperial decree, on 11 February 2021.
