The Order of Liberty is a merit order presented by the Grand Republic of Delvera recognizing "especially meritorious contribution[s] to the furtherance of Delvera, the cause of micronationalism, or other significant public or private endeavors." The Order is the highest civilian award that is presented by the Delveran government.
The Order was created by the Council of Governors on 13 October 2016.
Admission[edit | edit source]
An individual may be nominated for the Order by a Delveran citizen, who submits the nomination to the Consulate for review. If a simple majority of the current members of the Order vote in favor of admission, the Consul presents the award to the new recipient.
Formerly, the Order was awarded by a vote of the Council of Governors.
