The Order of the White Lion is an order of chivalry in Karnia-Ruthenia, formerly a decoration granted by the Occidian Empire, being also a decoration during the existence of the North American Confederation and of the Empire of New Europe, where it was founded, on 07 December 2009 by Emperor Wilhelm I.
After the proclamation of the Occidian Empire, the order was raised as one of the higher decorations in the country, and after the merging with Karnia-Ruthenia and due the special status of the personal union between both nations, the order was kept as one of the highest orders in Karnia-Ruthenia.
Despite being an old decoration, it was rarely granted by any of its Sovereign and Masters.
