Ameroslavia, officially the Kingdom of Ameroslavia, is a micronation located in South America, bordered by Brazil. The micronation was founded on 01 October 2021 by King Lenart of Ameroslavia, who later dropped the royal title to pursue other micronational projects and embrace other political objectives. Ameroslavia was dormant until restoration promoted by Karnia-Ruthenia under the auspices of the Derivatist Program of the Conference of Santiago.

Using the Nomadic Micronation Theory, the original claim in the United State of America was abandoned and the restoration of Ameroslavia happened in Floriano, Piauí. The new territory was formerly a foreign possession of the House of Götzö-Thomaz-Rocha that once returned to the imperial family after a time rented to the son of Archduke George of Karnia, was studied to be more than just a residence, but a micronation in its own right.

The crown was offered to Ari, Archduke of Karnia, former King of Ruthenia and father of Oscar I, who accepted the throne on behalf of his father, the owner of the property where Ameroslavia would be installed.

Etimology[edit | edit source]

The name Ameroslavia, developed by King Lenart, combine Amero, related to America, with slavia, that is a general term for an area inhabited by Slavs. So, Ameroslavia can be understood as "an area inhabited by Slavs in America".

History[edit | edit source]

Establishment[edit | edit source]

Proclamation of 01 October, by Lenart I of Ameroslavia.

The concept behind of Ameroslavia was developed by Lenart (or Lawerence) of Ameroslavia, its founder and first King, who previously created several micronations, including Lodomeria, that turned to be the origin of Ameroslavia.

Working in micronationalism on Twitter since August 2021, he made several projects, changing from monarchist to socialists projects that eventually, at one time, transformed the Lodomerian Democratic Republic ‎founded on 05 August 2021 into the Kingdom of Lodomeria at some point between its foundation and 26 September 2021‎, because on 30 September 2021, the then Kingdom of Lodomeria was transformed into the Empire of Ameroslavia, idealized as the micronation to unite all Americans with Slavic ancestry.

Despite its general acclaim in micronational community, the founder opted to leave the throne and pursued different goals, changing the project and establishing some micronations that eventually became the People's Republic of Rivala, a socialist micronation. The Ameroslavian throne became vacant by some moment after 03 November 2021 until the restoration attempt carried by the Karno-Ruthenian government.

Restoration[edit | edit source]

Using the Nomadic Micronation Theory, the original claim in the United State of America was abandoned and the restoration of Ameroslavia happened in Floriano, State of Piauí, Brazil. The new territory was formerly a foreign proprierty of the House of Götzö-Thomaz-Rocha called Antonvilla, that when returned to the imperial family after a time rented to the son of Archduke George of Karnia, was studied to be more than just a residence, but a micronation in its own right.

By 21 July 2022, Oscar I contacted the now President of the People's Republic of Rivala asking for his approval for the restoration and to give him guarantee that he would give him all the credit for all the work done by him. Without answer but being faithful to his proposal to the former emperor, Ameroslavia was to be restored as a kingdom and still considering Lenart as their former sovereign, using the heraldry work made by him with some adaptations and preserving his credits on it and even naming the capital as Lenartgrad. Also, an alternative name was thought in case the former ruler ask for changes.

Restored under the auspices of the Derivatist Program of the Conference of Santiago, the micronation had its crown offered to Ari, Archduke of Karnia, former King of Ruthenia and father of Oscar I, who accepted the crown on behalf of his father and was the one behind the initiative to restore Ameroslavia and the offering a crown for his father. In return, Oscar I eventually dropped his rights to succeed in the New Southern Rhine and Pommerland, becoming the Crown Prince of Ameroslavia.

Politics[edit | edit source]

The Kingdom of Ameroslavia can be defined as a unitary constitutional monarchy and sometimes referred to as a kind of enlightened despotism. The monarch, titled as King, is both head of state and head of government of the nation and his position is hereditary. The King may appoint a Prime Minister to acts as a co-head of government with a national council. Legislative power is exercised ny the monarchy in case of vacancy of the government or through the National Council under the sanction or vetoing of the King. Judicial authority also is exercised by the King's Office.

Foreign policy[edit | edit source]

The foreign policy consists of non-intervention, self-determination, international cooperation and the peaceful settlement of conflicts. The King himself is the supreme authority on foreign policy. The foreign policy is a by-product of the country's microposition as a new and poorly-populated micronation with few government officials. The country relates itself mostly with other micronations at the Brazilian sector. Ameroslavian foreign policy has generally been based on the principles of multilateralism, peaceful dispute settlement, and non-intervention in the affairs of other countries.
