The Treaty of Nison is a treaty signed between Emperor-King Oscar of Karnia-Ruthenia and King Thomas of Cumagne in which it was agreed that Cumagne would cease to be an independent micronation and would become a member state of the Karno-Ruthenian Empire, submitted to its laws, Constitution and Emperor[1].
The parties agreed to keep the terms of the treaty indefinitely, preserving the conditions that provide the signing of the treaty, stating that if the implementation of the treaty becomes infeasible to both parties, the signatories would to restore the status quo ante.
Other laws that determined compliance of the treaty and stipulated additional measures were the imperial decrees 044-16[2] and 045-16, dated 23 and 25 September 2016.
It was dissolved by the Second Treaty of Nison, signed on 25 October 2017[3].
