Purpose | - Amending the Treaty of Dionysopol - Recognition of the Monarch of the North American Confederation as Emperor |
The Treaty of Theodosia, also sometimes informally referred to as The Treaty on the recognition of Emperors by elements of the Pavlovian Government, is a treaty signed between Alexander IV, Emperor of Pavlov, H&RAM Emperor Oscar I and Wilhelm, Emperor of the North American Confederation in which the three of them recognize each other as full Emperors with Auctoritas Invicta and Imperium.
The Imperium of the Treaty of Theodosia is not to be confused with the Austenasian theory of Imperium, for in the Treaty of Theodosia Imperium is defined as a titular precedence and semi-universal authority over states in their respective spheres of influence. The signatories also do not see themselves as all being Emperors of an "undivided Roman Empire" as is present in the Austenasian theory.[1]
On the other hand it establishes that the three may only recognize other Emperors on unanimous agreement between the parties, and that any ammendement to the document may be made solely on unanimous agreement between the parties. As per treaty, the exact contents are not shared to 3th parties.
