The Karno-Ruthenian Twelfth Army was a Karno-Ruthenian permanent field army and was officially established in 06 February 2019, but already mentioned as one of the Karno-Ruthenian conditions for the approval of the Treaty of Libenstein, in order to transform the Royal Army of Cardonia as a field army part of the Karno-Ruthenian Army to be located at Libenstein, capital of Cardonia after the merging between Cardonia and Hakodate, resulting in Kingdom of Cardonia as member state of the Empire. The task of the Army since its foundation was to defend Cardonia and its citizens, as well as the interests of the Empire in Asia.
